Innovations in Early Childhood Education Consultation and Professional Development and Training Fees, 2009

Innovations in Early Childhood Education, Inc. provides consultation to individuals and organizations involved in the early childhood education and development field. Consultation services are billed at a published rate of $250.00 per hour. Project estimates are available upon request.

Keynote Presentations: Various topics. Estimated cost: $3000.00-$3500.00

Hourly Consultation: Topics by arrangement; four-hour minimum. $1800.00-3000.00 plus travel and expenses.

How to Use the Innovations Series: Introductory workshop for teachers of up to 6 hours; curricula books purchase for participants required. Maximum number of participants—75. Estimated cost: $3000.00-$3500.00 plus books, travel, and expenses.

Using the Innovations Series, specialized Workshops: Specialized workshops for infant, toddler, preschool, pre-k teachers of up to 6 hours on components of curriculum using the Innovations series. Maximum number of participants—75. Estimated cost: $3000.00-3500.00 plus travel and expenses.

Using the Innovations Series: Introductory workshop for directors and principals of up to 6 hours. Maximum number of participants—30. Estimated cost: $3000.00-3500.00 plus travel and expenses.

Using the Innovations Series: Train the Trainer: Introductory workshop for directors, administrators, and education specialists of up to 6 hours; curriculum and training books purchase (or availability) required. Maximum number of participants—30. Estimated costs: $3000.00-3500.00 plus books and travel and expenses.

Innovations Institute: 18-24 hours in an institute format to introduce teachers to the Innovations Series, how to use it in the classroom, designing and using curricula, observation and assessment, child development, best practices, parent involvement and participation, teaching roles and strategies, environment, and teacher-child interactions. The institute format is designed to get teachers to be able to use the curricula independently and systematically with early learning standards and accountability measures. Curriculum book purchase for participants required. Maximum number of participants—75. Estimated costs: $9,000.00-$15,000.00 plus books, travel and expenses.

Individual Program Consultation regarding the Innovations Series: Up to 6 hours on-site visitation to a program location to consult with the program managers and presentation to teachers of less than 2 hours. Estimated cost: $3000.00-3500.00 plus travel and expenses.

The Right Fit: Recruiting, Selecting, and Orienting Staff: Up to 6 hours of presentation and separate purchase of 20 copies of The Right Fit from Innovations or New Horizons. Maximum number of participants--60 Estimated cost: $3000.00-3500.00 plus books, travel, and expenses.

Processing Leadership: Living the Components of Professionalism and Collaboration: $3000.00 (for up to 6 hours of presentation) plus travel expenses, less than 4 hours of travel time. Maximum number of participants--30
